2010 PMTA CONFERENCE
You and Your Studio:  Surefire Investing in 2010
JUNE 11-13, 2010
OMNI BEDFORD SPRINGS RESORT
Bedford, PA

The conference special rate for rooms at the Bedford Springs Resort has now expired.

Mark your calendars for a PMTA first!  June marks the end of a busy teaching year and gives you time to refr esh your bod y, mi nd and spirit.   Your PMTA board invites you to pamper and renew yourself by attending our 2010 conference at the OMNI BEDFORD SPRINGS RESORT and SPA in Bedford, PA on Friday, June 11 - Sunday, June 13.  This 2,200-acre resort has been a healing place, a presidential retreat, and a luxurious escape for over 200 years, and after a $120 million restoration and expansion, is one of the nation's finest resorts.  Centrally located just 4 miles from the Bedford turnpike exit, the resort is within easy driving distance from all parts of the state.

Because the conference location is self-contained, you can hop out of bed and attend, without worrying about driving, parking, or walking distances.  The resort rooms are luxuriously appointed and many have access to porches with rocking chairs so you can enjoy a quiet morning cup of coffee before heading out for an early morning swim or yoga class.
Then it's off for breakfast and a day full of educational opportunities.  We're planning many stimulating clinicians including Suzanne Guy; former PMTA presidents James Douthit and Nanette Kaplan Soloman; author David Cutler; Christine Moulton; Jao Paulo Casarotti; Kay Hooper; Susan Nowicki; Elizabeth Burnett and others.

Other highlights include a Friday night kick-off cocktail hour; Saturday's IMT noon-time banquet buffet with Keynote speaker Suzanne Guy; the Saturday evening recital and Meet the artist reception with Brian Ganz; and Sunday's master class with Mr. Ganz.  There will be free time Saturday afternoon to visit the exhibit room or to enjoy the many resort activities including golf, spa, hiking, biking and swimming.  Or you might spend time socializing in the cozy library, meeting colleagues for 4:00 pm tea-time in the magnificent lobby, playing billiards in the lounge, or taking a historic guided tour of the resort.  You will have the flexibility of eating meals at one of several resort restaurants, or opting for less expensive dining at various franchise restaurants near the Bedford turnpike exit.

The board has negotiated an amazing low price of $149 per room per night so if you share with a friend, the cost is very affordable.  If you want to extend your stay, the hotel will offer the conference rate for several days before and after the conference - what a great way to have a tax-deductible mini-vacation!!!  With such an attractive offer, you might consider bringing your family or a guest.  In addition, we are offering an early bird discounted conference rate if you register by March 1st.
